“In 2013, resilient flooring saw some of the sharpest gains in the floor covering market led by the continued growth of LVT. Manufacturer dollar sales (vinyl sheet and floor tile plus “other” resilient flooring) are estimated to have increased by 10.5 percent and volume sales by 8.8 percent. These gains potentially pushed sales to almost $2.7 billion and 3.3 million square feet in 2013.

Strong gains this year have caused the product category (vinyl sheet and floor tile plus “other” resilient flooring) to rise in importance — a 13.4 percent increase in total dollar sales and 17.5 percent of total square ……………”
