Die Cutting Press With Infeed / Outfeed Pinch Roll System

Converting Material for Automotive Interior Trim

SCHWABE USA Model SR270 Straight Ram Hydraulic Beam Press with Infeed / Outfeed Pinch Roll System

We recently built a SCHWABE USA Model SR270 Straight Ram Hydraulic Beam Press at the SCHWABE USA manufacturing plant in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA for a Top OEM supplier of Die Cut Parts to the automotive interior trim industry focused on non-metallic die-cut parts delivering solutions for acoustic, air/water sealing, and BSR applications, and our customer continues to be “fast and flexible and capable of producing 2 million parts per day or die-cut prototype parts with 24-48 hours”.

We are proud to supply the SCHWABE USA Hydraulic Beam Press Model SR270 to this Top OEM manufacturer which was the first in it’s field to achieve TS 16949 / ISO 14001 certification.from website

SCHWABE USA Press Construction

Central Guide Straight Ram Hydraulic Beam Press with quad (4) cylinder hydraulic system; the cylinders also act as the actuating mechanism of the press, pushing down from a top structure vs. pulling down from a bottom structure. The cylinders are mounted inboard on the press in order to create a matching deflection between the head and bed, rather than having the head and bed gap the way conventional four post presses tend to do.Untitled 2

The heavy duty, rigid, large diameter center guide is used to keep the head and bed parallel vs. a hydraulic balancing system or some type of linkage/toggle mechanism. The Schwabe exclusive design eliminates the need for adjustment should the system be carrying an unbalanced load.

There are only five (5) moving parts in the Schwabe SR design; there is no linkages thereby resulting in less scheduled maintenance and easy serviceability.

Infeed / Outfeed Pinch Roll System

Infeed Pinch Roll Feed System with Conveyor Belt – Manually adjustable pinch roll able to accommodate various material thicknesses up to 5”.

Both rollers power driven by VFD complete with heavy duty steel frame construction conveyor system. Infeed conveyor approximately 6” beyond fixed guard.

Outfeed Pinch Roll Feed System with Parts Picking Conveyor – Manually adjustable pinch roll able to accommodate various material thicknesses up to 5”.

Both rollers power driven by VFD complete with heavy duty steel frame construction conveyor system. Length is approximately 110” and will roll away on locking casters with electrical interlock. Roll away parts picking conveyor to roll straight back approximately 70” from press to aid in tool change.
